Question: When you left the audition room for Pretty Little Liars did you feel like you’re goona get that role?

Troian: It was actually hilarious because I knew I was like Spencer in my heart. A nerd growing up… but I was like I’m never going to be what they’re looking for. They’re looking for like beautiful ABC Family, stunning you know. And so I just walked in and I did the role and I was like, I don’t really care if you guys give this to me or not, I’m just gonna do Spencer the way I see her. They called one hour later and they were like “they want you to come in tomorrow, they loved you. Could you get a little bit more dressed up and like do make up?” And I was like… “I did. A LOT.”
